We have to use tw ???"A: if its on ao3, then unless your post itself is nsfw, there's no need for a tw since ao3 has plenty of content warnings before even showing the fic !⛧Q: "Linking the fic should be required!"A: i said that this is a lax event but the gloves come OFF if anyone posts without credit/links. that defeats the purpose of the event ! if anyone shares fic w/o credit i will politely ask them to delete and reupload with proper creds⛧Q: "How to reach to the autor? Some only have ao3 accounts, we link it on the comments?"A: if someone only has their ao3 linked, i would say to use your best judgement on whether or not you should use it as a prompt since you wont b able to ask for permission ! in the previous thread it seemed /most/ authors are ok without being asked first, however many of them said they would at least like to be notified, and a few said they would definitely prefer being asked first. i'm not saying don't ! but i'm not gonna say do it either ! you decide !!!⛧Q: "will you be accepting mod applications?"A: hmm i dont really see a need for multiple mods tbh ! all im really gonna be doing is putting prompts together and then RT people who participate ? but if you think i could use help or improve on something please let me know !
namely, graphics. if my crude header that i still havent bothered to make prettier werent obvious enough, i am an illustrator without a single brain cell in graphic design "OTL⛧Q: "how do we sign up for this?"A: no signups required !! all you have to do is post on twitter (text, screenshot, art, etc) with a link to the fic in the main tweet and tag it so i can keep track of everything !! i will go into more detail once the post with weekly prompts is up⛧Q: "i want to support but i'm not an artist..."A: good news !! you can still participate !! if you want to create a graphic, or share a quote/screenshot of a moment from the fic, the designated hashtag is yours to use. other ways to support would of course be commenting and leaving kudos on fics ! like and RT posts you see in the tag !!! this event is not just about sharing fics you loved, but perhaps finding new treats to enjoy <3⛧Q: "do we make something for all the prompts, pick one per week, or find a fic that checks off all three? thank you!" A: might be hard to find a fic that checks off all three but it would be wholly welcome ! the intention is one fic for each prompt, and however many prompts you want to do is up to you.⛧Q: "are drabbles posted on twitter or just as a series of tweets considered as...fics? are there guidelines on whats considered a fic or not hehe (like do they have to be published on ao3 for example)"A: hmmm im gonna say yes, but please include any tw/cw that may apply if the thread does not include them already !!

once august 1st rolls around, you have from that day until the end of the month to do whatever you want. yes seriously. follow your heart. if you wanna slide in on week three and post prompts from week one, who's gonna stop you? (not me) (also this year's august is five weeks long and i didnt feel like figuring out exact dates)the way that you contribute to this event is entirely up to you. you can post for as many (or as little) prompts in as many ways as you want, by sharing screenshots, creating illustrations, comics, graphics, or simply by tweeting your appreciation for the fic. there is no specific "way" to follow this event.EXCEPT -you must include a direct link to the fanfic in the MAIN TWEET, not in a thread below. many people will not bother to dig to find the link to the fic.please use the tag #wewam2022 so i can share your tweet !!
if you forget, reply to your main tweet with the hashtag. if you don't use it, i will assume you did not want me to retweet it, even if i've seen it.⛧note: as stated in the FAQ, a majority of writers said they either enjoy or dont mind the surprise of fic art, but many of them said they would at least like to be notified, and a few said they would rather the artist ask first. in response to this, acquiring permission is not mandatory, but it is strongly recommend. if an author cannot be reached for whatever reason, please use your own discretion when deciding to draw or share a screenshot/quote from a fic and be prepared to take responsibility for whatever consequences may come after!
